12 days to xmas and next to nothing for snow anywhere,I was told there was less than 4 inches as far north as Armstrong. Really odd winter this year. Full moon and warm as well.

The large timber wolf is still roaming from Auto Road to Mapleward Road and every where in between. He has been spotted 4-5 times and from all accounts is very large, bold and aggressive.

A very large timber wolf is in and around the Dawson Road area from Mapleward Road to Townline Road. He has gone after 1 dog so far and my friend saw him at 11 am yesterday morning on Law road. He is as large as a Great Dane and not scared of anyone. Be very cautious if you see him. Call the city police.

Just a note to say I saw another bald eagle sitting up a tree across from Hazlewood Drive and Dawson Road about 1pm this afternoon.

A bit nippy out there this morning. Was talking with a friend from One Island Lake yesterday and he saw a 2-3 year old bull moose walking beside the road about 1-2 miles from his place. He usually sees deer in this area. He said the bull appeared to be very healthy which is good.

Futher to this morning. Was burning brush piles this afternoon and noticed 2 dandelions growing in his pasture. That is a first this late in November. Maybe the perrenials will start blooming again and we can skip winter completely.

WOW

The weather is unreal. Short sleeve shirts for this time of the year. That makes only 117 days till the first day of spring. lol. This must be driving the animals right nuts.

Not seeing as many animals as I thought I would see. Most of my contacts are seeing squat as well. Squat is not an animal or a bird. Squat is zero, nil.

Have a wonderful time photographing.

have been talking with a few friends over the past week and we all agree that we are seeing more timber wolves than ever before. 1 on highway 587 to Pass lake 4 days ago, on the Spruce River Road in various spots and even on Mission Island. Be careful as most seem to a bit aggressive.

Looks like the snow is here to stay. Easy to find tracks in the snow and follow them. Dress up warm and have fun photographing.

This the first official day of snow staying on the ground for more than 4 hours. I guess winter is coming. I do need a heavy snowfall to get all those trees laden with snow videos and photographs.

Hard to believe it is November. No snow, warm temperatures. I can handle this. Saw 7 bald eagles from Mapleward Road to the xpressway about an hour ago. 1 eagle was dive bombing a turkey vulcher. saw 4 deer in a yard beside Community Hall Road and Government Road yesterday. Be careful driving.
