Well we finally got more rain. that makes 1.75 inches or 44 mm of rain this week. We still need about 1 foot this coming month. Oh you say it will ruin my summer. A major forest fire would ruin more than your summer fun.

the Kaministiquia River seems to be dropping daily. The sand bars above the bridge at Stanley seem to get bigger daily. On the 16th there was about 40 geese and a few ducks walking in the water there at 7:12am.

My friend Ardian from KBM tells me that last saturday he saw a doe and new born fawn in front of KBM and the later on his way to the Mission Island marsh he waited for a large bear to cross the bridge.  On June 13th he saw a coyote on main street near the bridge. On June 15th a flock of white pelicans were seen in the Mission Island Marsh as well as gopher in front of the store. Seems there are more animals and birds in the city than in the country.

On wednesday I filmed a goose walking down the shoulder on highway 588 near the shooting range. Also filmed a partridge on an old house.

I started filming a reality TV show this past week. Looks good so far. Got the first 36 minutes and 20 seconds. As soon as I get back from my mothers 90th birthday party I will be starting another production along the North Shore of lake Superior. Still looking for a hostess for this production. I had a lady, but seems she isn't interested in my production, so email me if you can sit and talk with people.

Also saw a pair of loons with 1 baby on a pond in the city yesterday.
