It ahs been a slow week for seeing birds and animals until this morning. I did a favour for a friend and took a load of gatbage to the land fill site off Mapleward Road between Oliver and John. Low and behold I counted over 40 bald eagles in less than a minute. If you want to observe these beautiful birds then you got to the weigh startion and knock on the door so they know you are going to look at the bald eagles. I talked with a worker there and he told me that last week in a matter of minutes they counted 160 plus bald eagles.

Also have been seeing a small fawn visiting my friends horses every morning. Must be an orphan. Also been seeing crossing higway `102 near Leppanens' Store almost daily.
